A Two-Day Weekend Adventure: Conquering Winter Roads Across Rochester

Despite the biting cold and slippery roads, I was out there, traversing the entire Rochester area, picking up vehicles and paying cash—all while enjoying every twist and turn the journey had to offer.

Day One: Hitting the Road with Determination

My weekend kicked off in Gorham, NY, where I started by picking up a rugged 1997 Ford F150. The roads were slick with ice, but as always, I set out with a positive mindset and a commitment to providing fast, friendly, and fair service—something our Google Reviews always highlight.

Next, I made my way to Palmyra, NY, to collect a 2007 Didge Dakota. The drive there was filled with classic winter challenges: snow-covered highways and sudden icy patches kept me on my toes. I appreciated the reminder that every mile is an adventure, and every vehicle has its own story to tell.

Continuing the day, I headed to Brockport for a 2013 Mitsubishi Gallant. As I navigated through the gently falling snow, the charm of upstate New York in winter truly hit home. Each town has its own personality, and Brockport’s quiet, serene streets were a welcome change from the busier urban routes.

Day Two: A Flurry of Pickups

The next day, the pace only quickened. I started in Rochester, where I had the pleasure of picking up two vehicles at once—a 2007 Dodge Aspen and a 2007 Honda Civic. Coordinating a double pickup in the heart of the city wasn’t easy in the winter rush, but it was all part of the fun and challenge of the job.

Afterwards, I traveled to Hilton. There, I managed two simultaneous pickups: a Jeep Liberty and a Jeep Compass. Hilton’s roads may be a bit more rural, but they come with their own set of frosty hurdles that test even the most experienced winter driver.

Back in Rochester, I secured a 2014 Chevy Cruze, another gem that adds to our diverse collection. Not long after, I made a quick stop in Spencerport to pick up a 2008 Checy Blazer. Each stop was a reminder of the varied landscapes and communities that make this region so unique.

Finally, to cap off the weekend, I headed to Riga to collect an old Ford Pickup. Ending the journey in Riga felt like the perfect finale—a nostalgic nod to the past wrapped up in a modern-day adventure.

Every leg of this two-day weekend tested my skills on icy roads and snow-packed highways, but it also reaffirmed why I love what I do. From the bustling streets of Rochester to the quieter, snow-dusted roads of smaller towns, I embrace the challenges of winter driving with a smile.
